Job summary

Boots is offering a Trainee Dispenser role in-store across the UK. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing medicines, greet customers, and build relationships with patients while completing your Dispenser training (NVQ2).

This entry-level role requires a commitment to training, with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance; UK right to work is required and full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required and full training will be provided.
• Complete your Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme while working in-store.
• Desire to learn and grow within Boots is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist and healthcare team in dispensing prescriptions.
• Ensure safe supply of medicines and label, endorse and collect prescriptions.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Help manage medicines and repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste.
• Develop patient-facing skills and stay updated with store systems.
