Job summary

Boots is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, greeting customers, and helping manage medicines under supervision, while you complete Dispenser training (NVQ2).

No prior experience is required as full training is provided, and you will work on the shop floor within the UK. The role is in-store and based in the UK, with a focus on patient care and safe dispensing practices.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training.
• Current and valid UK right to work is required.
• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide medicines-related advice.
• Assist in dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Support pharmacists and healthcare staff in delivering pharmacy services.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Maintain patient records and manage medicine repeats to promote adherence.
