Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor in Taunton. You’ll own your territory, manage point‑of‑sale placements, stock replenishment and auditing, and build strong relationships with store colleagues.

This flexible, part‑time role offers 5–20 hours per week with pay at £14.24 per hour (holiday pay included). A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with a can‑do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
• Located within 15 miles of Taunton.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Own your territory and manage point‑of‑sale placements, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and build strong relationships with store colleagues.
• Ensure stock is replenished and displays stay on brand; plan cost‑effective visit routes.
• Take charge of your own travel planning and visit cadence to maximise store impact.
