Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor across your territory. You will own POS placement, stock replenishment and auditing, building visually compelling displays while maintaining brand standards.

This flexible part-time role offers autonomy with 5–20 hours per week, a friendly team, holiday pay and benefits. You will need a full UK driving licence and proximity to the advertised area.

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory, manage point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays that stay on-brand.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Plan cost-effective visits and ensure displays remain aligned with brand standards.
