About The Role:
Shift pattern: Monday to Saturday - 6:30am to 11:30am
Location: Chard
We’re recruiting for an In-Store Cleaning Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team.
You’ll oversee all cleaning duties carried out by your team, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing and assisting with cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, absence management, performance reviews, and supporting recruitment.
• Completing weekly site audits and ensuring actions are addressed promptly.
• Identifying training needs, conducting coaching, and maintaining training records.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Supporting investigations related to accidents or performance issues.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of cleaning products and submitting orders within budget.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or a similar field is desirable.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and HR compliance is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and be flexible with hours and days.
