Job summary

Maybourne Hotel Group is seeking a talented and passionate In room Dining Coordinator for the Connaught Hotel in London. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week and involves handling in-room dining calls, coordinating information, and ensuring seamless guest service.

You will work closely with departments to deliver a 360-degree service, participate in training, and uphold the Maybourne standard while enjoying a range of staff benefits and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls into the In Room Dining Office and handle general enquiries and messages.
• Coordinate forwarding and receipt of information to uphold The Connaught Richey standards and guest satisfaction.
• Report guest complaints to In-Room Dining Manager or delegate immediately.
• Co-operate with other departments (back of house, Housekeeping) to fulfil guests' requirements.
• Maintain 360 degree communication to provide consistent, intuitive service.
• Contribute to a strong team culture and ethos supporting guest service, communication and knowledge sharing.
• Attend hotel training sessions and support Connaught and Maybourne training initiatives.
• Familiarise with the Maybourne Employee Handbook and apply practices accordingly.

Job description

We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time In room Dining Coordinator to join our team at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.

Responsibilities:

• To answer all incoming calls into the In Room Dining Office, dealing with general enquiries and taking messages as appropriate.
• To ensure forwarding and receiving of all information pertaining to the department in order to maintain The Connaught Richey standards and achieve total guest satisfaction adding to the guest experience.
• To report guest complaints to In-Room Dining Manager or delegate immediately.
• To co-operate with members of staff in other departments, especially back of house and Housekeeping to fulfil guests’ requirements.
• To ensure 360 degree communication to provide consistent, intuitive service
• To be a focal part of the development of a strong team culture and ethos which supports high levels of guest service delivery, effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Attend department/hotel training sessions and meetings as required. Fully support Connaught and Maybourne training initiatives at all times.
• Be fully conversant with the Maybourne Employee Handbook and ensure that practice is adopted at all times.
