Job summary

Cornwall Hospice Care Limited in Cornwall is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-standard specialist palliative care to patients and their families in our in-patient facilities.

This full-time role involves internal rotation to nights, weekends and bank holidays, with a 37.5 hour week and a salary of £38,220 per annum. Palliative care experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Essential: Registered General Nurse on Part One or Two of the Register.
• Desirable: Palliative Care Modules in Specialist Palliative Care.
• To be working towards a Diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of patient care.
• Maintain agreed standards of care and participate in clinical audits to improve nursing practice.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered palliative care within the in-patient unit.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
• Support Ward Sister and Senior Staff Nurse in clinical governance and ward management.
