Job summary

Michael Page Legal is assisting a rapidly growing in-house team in West Yorkshire with a focused In House Litigation Solicitor role. You will manage defendant litigation across a varied caseload, advising on strategy and settlement opportunities while ensuring procedural compliance and high-quality client service.

The role offers modern technology, exposure to process improvements, and progression within a growing legal function. Hybrid working with office presence required.

Qualifications

• Experience in litigation with a strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules.
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Commercially aware and able to communicate with stakeholders at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre-action to resolution, including higher value and complex claims.
• Advise on legal strategy, risk, settlements, and court deadlines.
• Work with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and client service.
• Support legal operations initiatives, process improvements and best-practice documentation.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
