Job summary

Michael Page is assisting in recruiting an In House Litigation Solicitor for a fixed-term position in Sheffield. You will advise on litigation, disputes and governance while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.

We are seeking a solicitor with around 4 years PQE, experienced in financial services or regulated environments, and able to manage external advisers. Hybrid working and a salary of £60,000–£62,000 are on offer.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in litigation and disputes.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is preferred.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders with practical commercial legal advice.
• Available at short notice for a fixed-term in-house role.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on litigation, disputes and governance across the organisation.
• Advise on risk management and escalation processes.
• Assist with contentious matters within a financial services environment.
• Coordinate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Policy, Strategy, Economics and Finance teams.
• Manage external legal advisers to ensure value for money and quality.
