You will handle a high-volume caseload, perform case management from instruction to resolution, and assist with evidence gathering, pleadings, and witness statements to support potential litigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming claims submitted by external stakeholders, contractors or third parties.
• Case manage a personal caseload of legal recovery files from instruction to final resolution.
• Conduct early-stage analysis of claims to determine liability and potential recovery value.
• Negotiate out-of-court settlements while protecting the organisation's interests.
• Prepare case files for litigation, including drafting pleadings and witness statements.
• Gather evidence by analysing technical documents, planning maps and diagrams.
• Liaise with engineers, surveyors, contractors and claims specialists for information flow.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and internal policy; flag risks to supervising solicitors.
• Utilise case management software to manage documentation and generate reports.
