Job summary

BCL Legal Limited is partnering with a growing professional membership organisation to hire an in-house Employment Solicitor.

The role offers fully remote work across the UK, handling a claimant-side caseload with disputes including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Requires 2+ years’ PQE and strong tribunal experience.

Qualifications

• Draft Employment Tribunal documentation and review evidence.

In-House Employment Solicitor | 2+ PQE | £55,000 | Fully Remote

Are you a 2 PQE or above Employment Solicitor with significant tribunals experience, looking for a fully remote role where you can take ownership of your caseload and make a real difference to people facing workplace disputes?

I’m working with a growing professional membership organisation looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor to join its established, supportive in-house legal team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an employment lawyer to manage a varied claimant-side caseload, supporting members with disputes including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and other employment-related issues.

The Role

• Independently manage a varied employment law caseload from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Advise on merits, litigation strategy, remedies and settlement negotiations.
• Draft Employment Tribunal documentation and review evidence.
• Manage case progression and instruct and liaise with Counsel, who will undertake advocacy.
• A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE.
• Strong Employment Tribunal knowledge and experience managing your own caseload.
• Claimant-side or trade union experience is advantageous.
• Respondent-side employment lawyers looking to transition into claimant work are also encouraged to apply.
