Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies.
• Advise on business restructures and redundancies, including collective redundancies.
• Oversee discrimination and whistleblowing cases.
• Advise on TUPE transfers, including corporate support.
• Draft and advise on director service agreements, employment contracts and consultancy agreements, with good knowledge of employment status and IR35.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance processes and handle senior executive severances.
• Handle complex tribunal work.

Senior Employment Solicitor (Fully Remote)

£68,000 to £90,000 depending on PQE

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Employment Solicitor to join a fast-growing law firm as part of a senior, supportive employment team.

The Opportunity

You’ll advise SMEs and larger businesses on the full range of employment issues, from day-to-day support through to restructures, TUPE transfers, senior exits and complex tribunal work. The team is made up mainly of senior lawyers who support one another, so you’ll have colleagues to work through the harder questions with.

The firm has been remote from day one and describes itself as relaxed and informal but well organised. It's a tech-driven, agile business that gives its lawyers the tools to work efficiently and keep a real balance. It is growing at over 30% a year and expects to double its turnover over the next two years. You’ll have a role in shaping that growth, with no politics and no bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies.

About You

You are an England and Wales-qualified employment lawyer, ideally with 10+ years' experience, and the following attributes:

• A commercial mindset, with strong relationship‑building skills and a practical approach to advice.
• A tech‑savvy, self‑starting attitude, with interest in using AI tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the ability to navigate SharePoint.
• Close attention to detail in drafting.
