Job summary

Service Care Legal is recruiting an experienced Employment Solicitor for a predominantly remote role with occasional office attendance in Central London. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload focusing on contentious employment matters, including discrimination and equality issues, within a well-regarded UK law firm.

You will join a robust employment team, managing cases from drafting to advocacy, while supporting client relations and business development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE with strong employment law experience.
• Proven contentious employment experience, ideally from a reputable regional or London firm.
• Experience handling discrimination/equality matters and Employment Tribunal claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Handle disclosure and advise clients throughout the litigation process.
• Provide direct advice to a diverse client base, including senior executives and commercial organisations.
• Support business development and contribute to client meetings and wider team initiatives.

The successful candidate will join a well-established employment team, handling a varied caseload with a strong focus on contentious employment matters , including discrimination and equality issues.

ROLE: Employment Associate

PQE: 5+ Years

SALARY: £85,000 to £100,000 FTE

LOCATION: Remote, with occasional Central London office attendance

HOURS: 3–4 days per week / flexible

• Manage contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing effectively to a wider team.
• Advocacy experience desirable but not essential.
