Independent Lives is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant / Carer to support a severely disabled adult in their own home. The role emphasizes independence, dignity, and person-centered care within a family setting.

The candidate will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, manage medications, and support social engagement. Training is provided, and a DBS check is required.

Qualificações

• Experience in complex care (neuro/feeding/epilepsy) is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Full training provided and references may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with moving and handling, including hoisting.
• Support with feeding and medication administration.
• Assist with communication needs and social activities.
• Perform light household tasks related to the client.
