Job summary

Community Case Management Services Ltd is seeking a part-time female support worker to assist a 77-year-old lady at home, helping her stay independent. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, laundry, light domestic duties, and accompanying her to appointments and outings.

Driver with own car preferred as the client will travel; mileage is covered. An Enhanced DBS check is required, and training (Care Certificate) will be arranged. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care desirable.

Qualifications

• An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake Care Certificate training is required if NVQ2 not held.
• All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, laundry and light domestic duties.
• Support with appointments and outings to maintain client independence.
• Oversee care of the client’s puppy, including walking.
• Assist with gardening, shopping and car-boot trips as described by client.
• Must be able to drive the client in your car; mileage covered.
