Job summary

Believecare is hiring a Support Worker to support two autistic individuals in their own home in Preston. The role offers full-time hours with a 34.5 hour week plus sleep-in shifts. You will provide neuroaffirmative, person-centred support that respects autonomy and individual choices.

You’ll work with a small team, focusing on listening, learning and adapting to each person’s needs, preferences and goals while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting autistic people and/or individuals with IDD.
• Reliable, dependable and flexible.
• Excellent communicator and active listener.
• Neuroaffirmative, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide neuroaffirmative, person-centred support in the home for two autistic individuals.
• Respect autonomy, dignity and personal boundaries while enabling independence.
