Job summary

Believecare in Skelmersdale is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support a young neurodiverse man with autism. You will lead a small, person-centred team to deliver high‑quality, consistent support that promotes independence and life skills.

You will coordinate with family and professionals to achieve the best outcomes and ensure safeguarding and professional standards are met. The role involves 40 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, including 1–2 sleep-in shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading care teams.
• Strong communication and safeguarding skills.
• Ability to plan and organise staff rotas and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and care standards.
• Lead by example and maintain professional boundaries and best practices.
• Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and performance reviews.
• Organise staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
