Job summary

MBDA UK is offering a 10-week Electronic Engineering Summer Placement in Stevenage starting June 2027. You will work with a team of engineers, applying university knowledge to real-world missile electronics projects and benefiting from mentoring, on-site facilities, and pro rata salary.

The role provides exposure to schematic design tools (Zuken), Matlab/Simulink modelling, and potential progression to a graduate role. Provisions include pension contributions and paid overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current undergrad working towards a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Avionics, Electro-mechanical, Physics or related Engineering discipline.
• Willing to undergo BPSS security checks after offer stage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, design and deliver a missile-related project as part of a small team.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers across mechanical, test systems and software fields.
• Develop and test electronics for Weapon Control Units, Actuators and Telemetry systems.
