Ligentia Group in Manchester is seeking a Service Delivery Executive to manage end-to-end import operations, focusing on Air and Ocean imports. You will coordinate bookings, liaise with clients, and ensure timely delivery while navigating customs entries and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience in freight forwarding, strong communication, and a proactive approach to resolving disruptions to protect margins and client KPIs.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding experience with a focus on import operations.
• Experience managing end-to-end import lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of UK customs clearance procedures.
• Experience submitting import entries via CDS, Destin8, or CNS.
• Multimodal knowledge: Air, Ocean, Road imports.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving under pressure.
• Desirable: experience with CargoWise software.

Responsabilités

• Manage full lifecycle of import shipments from booking to delivery.
• Prepare and submit accurate customs entries.
• Be main client contact with proactive updates.
• Resolve disruptions to maintain service levels.
• Manage job costing, profitability, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, carriers, and hauliers.
