Job summary

HR GO Recruitment seeks a proactive Import Logistics Executive in Tilbury, Essex, to manage import operations across all transport modes. The role demands a proactive, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication and English skills.

You will liaise with customers, suppliers and shipping lines, raise files, prepare and process invoices, monitor vessel arrivals and ensure on-time deliveries. A driver is essential due to limited transport links.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with a small to mid-sized freight forwarder.
• Experience with CNS and Destin8 or Multi-freight systems.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent English skills and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
• Raise internal files.
• Prepare invoices and process supplier invoices.
• Monitor vessel arrivals and organize collections and deliveries.
• Follow up after delivery to ensure satisfaction and explore further opportunities for service.
