Job summary

Noble Recruiting is looking for an Import Logistics Executive to join our team in Tilbury. The role is office based, 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience. You will liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, prepare invoices and manage supplier invoices while ensuring timely vessel arrivals.

There’s a focus on accuracy, strong English skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Own transport is essential due to the location.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience with a small/medium freight forwarder.
• Experience with CNS and Destin8 is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and subcontractors including shipping lines, hauliers and depots.
• Raising internal files and preparing invoices.
• Processing supplier invoices and addressing discrepancies; monitoring vessel arrivals.
• Organising collections and deliveries to meet customer deadlines.
• Following up after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and explore further opportunities.

Your Role:

• Liaising with various customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
• Raising internal files and preparing invoices.

• Organising collections and deliveries to ensure customer deadlines are met.

What we are looking for:

• A proven track record of at least two years working for a small to medium-sized freight forwarder.
• Experience with CNS and Destin8 is essential.
• Strong attention to detail / Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent mathematical and English skills.
• A strong and dynamic team player.
• Own transport is essential due to the location of this Company.
