Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a friendly Portsmouth team. The role covers managing import shipments from booking to delivery, processing import customs entries via CDS, and coordinating sea and air freight movements.

You will liaise with customers, hauliers and shipping lines, track shipments, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high service levels. The package includes pension, parking and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a freight forwarding environment is essential.
• Hands-on with import customs entries via CDS.
• Experience handling sea and/or air freight shipments.
• Good understanding of import process from clearance to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage import shipments from booking to delivery.
• Process import customs entries via CDS accurately.
• Coordinate sea and air freight movements and deliveries.
• Prepare and check shipping and customs documents.
• Maintain customer updates and satisfy queries timely.
