Job summary

Consult is seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join our team in the United Kingdom. You’ll act as the site specialist for import, export and customs compliance, supporting routine shipments alongside complex and time-critical movements.

The role requires formal import/export or customs training, broad hands-on international trade experience, and knowledge of GDP, GxP, GMP or Dangerous Goods.

Qualifications

• Formal import/export or customs training is required.
• Hands-on international trade experience is expected.
• Knowledge of customs classification, licensing, sanctions and embargoes is important.
• Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with GDP, GxP, GMP or Dangerous Goods requirements is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential.

You’ll act as the site specialist for import, export and customs compliance, supporting routine shipments alongside complex and time-critical movements.

• Maintain import/export SOPs and working instructions
• Coordinate with customs brokers and conduct post-entry checks
• Support audits, AEO requirements and compliance training
• Assist with regulated and hazardous shipments
• Work across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and procurement teams
