Witherslack Group Ltd. is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs. You’ll help learners develop skills, raise self-esteem, and celebrate small victories in a nurturing environment.

You’ll work alongside teachers and therapists, providing tailored support, engaging in training, and benefiting from a well-resourced school setting that values inclusion and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a classroom environment or willing to be trained.
• Enthusiasm for supporting children to learn and build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and help pupils progress under the guidance of a teacher and therapists.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Attend to pupils’ needs and adapt activities to individual abilities to raise self-esteem.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapy staff to deliver personalised support plans.
