Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Autism, SEMH, and ASD across our SEND settings. You’ll help learners access learning, build confidence and develop skills with a patient, resilient approach.

No formal degree required; we provide full induction and on-the-job training, generous holidays and a collaborative team. You’ll join a supportive environment that values difference and the positive impact you can have on young lives.

Qualifications

• Ideally you’ll have experience working in a classroom, but if not, we can provide you with all the relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people to learn and develop their abilities.
• Assist the teacher and work closely with our therapists to deliver learning activities.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
