Job summary

Targeted Provision is actively recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to support learners with SEND and SEMH needs across the UK. Roles offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

You will work in a trauma-informed way to help disengaged and vulnerable learners achieve their potential. Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS are preferred, and roles are self-employed with DBS facilitation offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH/SEND needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons, providing regular progress feedback to students and stakeholders.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND learners and collaborate with local authorities.
