Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support vulnerable learners in the community. The role covers Maths, English or Science tutoring with a trauma-informed approach, in-person, hybrid, or remote options.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an enhanced DBS with references. Flexible hours and a child-centred mission are offered in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS check and two professional references.
• UK-based with right to work; remote/online options noted.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children, teens and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring; monitor student progress and report regularly.
• Support learners across KS1–KS5 as appropriate; coordinate with local authorities and schools when referred.
• Contribute to raising standards of SEND education within the community.
