Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutor/Teacher roles across the UK to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with Maths, English or Science. Roles are offered on a self-employed basis, with in-person, hybrid, or remote options.

You will work with SEND/SEMH students, KS1–KS5, planning flexible tutoring sessions and reporting progress, while maintaining safeguarding standards and a trauma-informed approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• QTS or QTLS required; Enhanced DBS encouraged and referenceable.
• UK-based with right to work; 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to SEND/SEMH learners.
• Support KS1–KS5 students referred by local authorities and schools with trauma-informed tutoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress; provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising standards for vulnerable learners and safeguarding.
