Job summary

Targeted Provision is looking for SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are flexible: in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching with a trauma-informed approach to support disengaged and vulnerable learners.

You will work on a self-employed basis, collaborating with local authorities and schools to plan lessons, monitor progress, and report outcomes while benefiting from mentoring and CPD resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity with teaching Maths, English, or Science.
• QTS or QTLS required and DBS enhanced clearance or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid for children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons, deliver flexible tutoring, and report progress to guardians or authorities.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and create a safe learning environment.
