Job summary

Targeted Provision is hiring SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English or Science tuition, delivered in person, online or hybrid, with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

You will work on a self-employed basis, with opportunities to engage with local authorities and schools, and be part of a community devoted to transforming lives of disengaged learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: UK-based with right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs.
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
