Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.

You will teach in person, online or hybrid, with flexible hours to suit your schedule. A genuine passion for transforming disengaged and vulnerable learners is essential, and QTS/QTLS and Enhanced DBS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work, safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising standards of education for SEND and SEMH learners
