Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support disengaged learners with SEMH/SEND needs. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tutoring in person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours and opportunities to scale from part-time to full-time.

Applicants should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS with right to work in the UK. This self-employed role offers competitive pay (£28–£35 per hour) and support from a dedicated SEND team.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on progress.
• Support pupils from KS1–KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Contribute to raising standards in SEND education.
