Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a supportive school in mid Devon that is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team who go above and beyond to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

You will support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, help with classroom engagement and emotional regulation, and contribute to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
• A caring and proactive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
