Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work across a mainstream secondary school in Preston, starting September on a full-time, long-term basis with potential to become permanent.

You will support pupils with SEND in both mainstream classes and a specialist provision, provide 1:1 and small group support, and assist with tailored learning and interventions while supporting behavioural, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND pupils (ASD/SEMH) preferred.
• Flexible and proactive approach.
• Patient and resilient with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND in mainstream classes and specialist provision.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist with tailored learning and interventions.
• Support behavioural, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO and support staff.
