Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Patient, caring, and resilient nature.
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to various school environments.
• Genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
• Experience with Autism, ADHD, and related needs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Supporting children with a range of additional needs.
• Encouraging positive engagement with learning.
• Adapting activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
• Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and other staff.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
