Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to work with diverse SEND students.
• Ability to support core literacy, numeracy and independence.
• Commitment to inclusion and high aspirations.
• Education to degree level or above is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support students with core skills including literacy, numeracy, self-advocacy, independence and communication.
• Assist with personal care, moving and handling, medical routines under guidance from professionals.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support learning and well-being.
• Training provided for moving and handling, hoist use and related tasks.
