Job summary

London South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support learners with SEND across our programmes. You will help learners access College services, develop study skills, and work on outcomes identified in Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCPs).

The role involves providing person-centred support with sensitivity to diverse needs, including personal care or mobility assistance where required.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience of working with learners with additional needs is essential.
• Clear safeguarding understanding and commitment to inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to learners with SEND.
• Assist learners to access College services and develop study skills.
• Support development of independence and learning outcomes identified in EHCPs.
