Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a long-term role in a specialist SEN school. You will support around 50 pupils from Year 1 to Year 11, delivering individual and small-group assistance to boost engagement and confidence.

The role requires resilience, reliability and a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs. DBS checks and safeguarding training are part of the process, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Patient, caring and resilient approach to pupils.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Commitment to a long-term placement and stable support.
• Familiarity with Clicker or similar specialist software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence, independence and communication skills.
• Support pupils across different year groups, creating a positive environment.
