Job summary

Hoop Recruitment LTD is seeking Teaching Assistants for full-time roles starting this September across secondary schools in Carmarthenshire. The position offers a competitive daily rate of £92.56 PAYE, with long-term opportunities and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist teachers, help manage behaviour, and support pupils' progress and wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply) and strong teamwork are

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in school or care settings.
• DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply) is highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, proactive and supportive approach
• Experience supporting ALN is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils
• Support students across a range of subjects
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support pupils' progress, confidence, and wellbeing
• Work closely with teachers and wider school staff
