Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a welcoming mainstream primary school in Carmarthen. The role is temporary with both full-time and part-time options starting in September, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and helping the class teacher maintain a safe, productive learning environment.

You'll work with mixed age groups, fostering inclusive learning and supporting pupils to overcome barriers.

Qualifications

• The successful Teaching Assistant will have experience working within a UK primary school setting.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on either a full-time or part-time basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work across mixed primary age groups, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, encouraging positive engagement, promoting learning and assisting the class teacher in creating a safe and productive classroom environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
