Job summary
Hoop Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants in Caerphilly and surrounding areas. Positions include full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent opportunities with flexible day-to-day work and long-term placements.
You will support pupils in primary and SEN schools, helping with lesson delivery, activities and behaviour management while promoting inclusive education. Free CPD and dedicated consultant support are provided.
Qualifications
- Experience in education or working with children and young people is welcomed.
- Ability to support pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
- Ability to assist teachers with lesson delivery and activities.
- Commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour support.
- Reliable, adaptable and professional with good communication.
- Full support with free CPD training provided.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Help pupils stay engaged with their learning.
- Support children with additional learning needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents.
