Randstad Education in Swindon is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 across lessons, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully.

You will work with class teachers and the SENDCo to monitor progress, foster an inclusive learning environment, and build confidence and engagement.

The role offers a competitive daily rate (£92.56–£95.00) and a consistent 8:30 AM–3:30 PM schedule during term time, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in schools, youth work, sports coaching, or care settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with patience, adaptability, and strong classroom management.

Responsabilités

• Support individual students or small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assist pupils with additional learning needs (SEN) and adapt tasks to ensure inclusivity.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment throughout the day.
• Build relationships to boost confidence, motivation, and classroom engagement.
• Collaborate with class teachers and the SENDCo to monitor, track, and report on progress.
