Job summary

Protocol Education in Huddersfield is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Support Staff to work across a range of secondary schools. You will support students in and out of the classroom, assist with behaviour management and provide one-to-one interventions to support learning.

You should have experience with young people, strong communication, and a proactive approach. An Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, preferably in an education setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students both in and out of the classroom
• Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral support
• Providing one-to-one and small group intervention
• Encouraging student engagement and participation
• Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
