Job summary

The Together Trust in Romiley, Stockport seeks a Registered Manager for a busy Short Stay Children’s Home to oversee respite care for young people with Autism, Learning Difficulties and other complex needs. You will lead a team to provide a safe, nurturing environment and promote safeguarding throughout the service.

We require significant residential childcare experience, Ofsted knowledge, and a Level 5 RM qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Significant residential childcare experience and Ofsted knowledge.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage a team and deliver service standards.
• Full UK work rights and a clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for young people.
• Lead and supervise staff to achieve high-quality care.
• Develop and review safeguarding policies and risk assessments.
• Coordinate plans to meet each young person’s needs and outcomes.
• Establish networks with communities and external agencies.
