Job summary

Occy is seeking a Recovery Worker to support people affected by substance use across Oban, Lorn and the Small Isles. You will travel as needed, offering in-person and remote support from our Oban base.

You will join a frontline team focused on reducing harm and promoting wellbeing for adults 18+. A driving licence and vehicle access are essential, SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare preferred, with opportunities to work toward this qualification.

Qualifications

• SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare preferred.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
• Experience supporting people with substance use issues is advantageous.
• Comfort with using digital systems and remote work methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals and family members.
• Travel across Oban, Lorn and Small Isles, supporting services from a base in Oban.
• Work with NHS and third-sector partners to coordinate support.
• Provide compassionate frontline support and promote recovery and wellbeing.
