Job summary

Phoenix Futures in North Lanarkshire is seeking a Sessional Worker to provide flexible, ad-hoc cover across services supporting adults and families affected by substance use. You will engage, assess, and support clients, working with a wider team to deliver interventions, harm reduction, and recovery planning.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential; we value compassion, willingness to learn, and a commitment to person-centred care within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desirable, however not essential.
• You should be willing to learn new skills and deliver compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centred ad-hoc cover across North Lanarkshire services when permanent staff are unavailable.
• Support adults and families affected by drug and alcohol use through engagement, assessment and practical support.
• Contribute across North Lanarkshire provision, including community and family services and various localities.
• Promote dignity, rights, recovery and inclusion while maintaining professional records and partnerships.
