Job summary

Gravesham Borough Council is seeking a 12-month part-time administrator to support the Housing Solution Team in delivering essential services to those at risk of homelessness. The role requires excellent customer service, flexibility, and willingness to work across the department, handling enquiries, records, data, and meetings.

Applicants should have 4 GCSEs including Maths & English, or equivalent, and experience with vulnerable households or young people.

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs grade 4/C including Maths & English, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working with vulnerable households or young people.
• Previous administrative support in a front-facing service area.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and provide front-line customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and data recording.
• Process invoices and support financial duties.
• Organise meetings and take minutes; support projects.
