Aspire People are partnering with a primary school in Loughborough to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The role is full-time, based in one primary school, and offers a daily rate of 105.

You will work Monday to Friday alongside the teaching team to support pupils throughout the school day. Ideal candidates hold a recognised Level 3 TA qualification and have prior UK school experience, with a focus on safeguarding and developing pupils’ confidence and learning.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience working in a UK school setting.
• A genuine interest in supporting children's academic and personal development.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• A dependable and flexible approach to the school day.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils.
• Helping children overcome learning barriers and develop their confidence.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting activities where appropriate.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Preparing resources and helping create an organised, stimulating classroom.
• Observing pupil development and communicating progress to the class teacher.
• Promoting inclusion, independence and positive relationships throughout the school.
