Job summary

Aspire People are partnering with a primary school in Leicester to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role supports children's learning, development and wellbeing, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Candidates must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have previous experience working within UK schools.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Have previous experience working in a UK school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help children develop academic, social and emotional skills.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including EHCPs where applicable.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive environment.
• Monitor progress and give feedback to the teacher.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence and independence.
