Job summary

LSA in the South East is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide individual attention, supporting learners to engage and progress with confidence. You will work with teaching staff to reinforce learning and deliver targeted interventions, both in and out of the classroom.

You will adapt resources to remove barriers to learning, monitor progress and feed back to colleagues, helping learners build independence and reach their potential within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting learners in an education setting.
• Patience, empathy and commitment to learner progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners individually and in small groups both in and out of the classroom.
• Working alongside teaching staff to reinforce learning and deliver interventions.
• Encouraging learners to build confidence, motivation and independence.
• Adapting resources and support to remove barriers to learning.
• Monitoring and feeding back on learner progress to teaching colleagues.
